An error occurred while attempting to create the user.

When user (employee)  try to add a new client user to the folder they get an error: "An error occurred while attempting to create the user."
I can still create users as the admin. Was this functionality changed? If it's expected I'll let them know to run the requests through me.

Same here.  We opened a case with support and they have asked us to enable the "Manage client" permission for all employees.

This is not the solution.  Find out what you changed in the past 24 hours that caused this error to occur and roll it back.

It is April 5th... the tax deadline is in 10 days.

I opened a case with Citrix last Friday regarding this issue. Yesterday, the support engineer replied:

"As of right now, it looks like we are going to roll back these changes, but we currently do not have an ETA on when this will happen.

As soon as we have any updates, we will reach out accordingly."

Just received a message from Citrix support stating:

"...  that we have begun to roll out a fix for this issue. You should see the fix implemented on your account within the next hour or so."

Having the same issue.  I'm hoping the fix that they are rolling out will apply to all accounts.

Having the same issue.  I'm hoping the fix that they are rolling out will apply to all accounts and reimburse me doing tax season for wasting my precious time, adding my clients new wife to his sharefile and removing the old wife.

We are experiencing the same problem. Unable to add new user to new file. File gets created but get the error message: An error occurred while trying to create the user. Horrible time for this glitch!

Hi, my info from Citrix support is from yesterday:
The Problem is fixed with release/19.15!
But on my site the release/19.15 is already active but error still exist.
Answer from Citrix: This is "normal" :-( because the new APIs are not yet deployed on my site. This update takes another 2 weeks.
Can anybody confirm pls.
