API returns "Reached document limit" in Error

I started using the Right Signature API. I was using a test account and it was working smoothly every time. We just switched to our live account and some requests worked well. Others, return the following error: 

 {"error":"User has reached document limit.","error_description":null}

We only used 28/500 documents we are allowed this month. So it doesn't make too much sense that we reached our limit. 

Please help.

Hi Mrs.Meltzer,

I had faced the same problem ,
I was able to solved this by trashing some of the document, which was not a permanent solution.
After trashing I have to wait for a wile to make my next uploading request, otherwise problem remains same.

Hi Farqalit,

Did you face the problem before you reached your document limit? 

Can you explain what you mean by "trashing some of the document" ?

Sorry for the delay in replying you.
"trashing some of the document" means that you can use "void the document" option for your documents.
And yes! I have faced the same error before it has reached document limit for me.

Would it be possible to share the API Client Name (for your live account), you were using? I can look at our logs to see what's going on?

Madison Trust Company is the company name under Account Information.
The account owner is cknopf@madisontrust.com
I'm not sure what you mean by API Client Name.

Mrs. Meltzer,

You have two client apps under that account.

  1. Madison Trust Application Packet 
  2. Wizard Pdf Writer

One of the scenarios, we show that error message is that when you have hit the document rate limit on that account. We have a rate limit of 10 docs/minute on an account level. I am guessing you might have hit that limit.

We are using the "Madison Trust Application Packet" key. 
We received this error when when we didn't send 10 documents/minute. 
I sent 2 requests last night at: 
2018-01-12 01:43:50.300 UTC
2018-01-12 01:54:41.603 UTC
and both failed. There were no other documents submitted on 01/12/2018. 

There were no other documents submitted around that time.

We have made some updates today to the rate limit logic, can you lease let us know if your issue is resolved?
