Can you use ShareFile between different domains?

I control domain aaa.sharefile.com, my customer is on bbb.sharefile.com. By policy, we block access to any ShareFile that isn't our own. Is there a way that I can upload a file to aaa.sharefile.com, run it through my security stack/CASB and send it to someone at bbb.sharefile.com and vice-versa? We're running into an issue where both sides block access to foreign ShareFile instances and we'd like to make this easier for our users while still retaining DLP/AV/etc controls.

Hello Leafweir,

Concerning your question:

Currently you cannot use ShareFile between different domains.  The best approach howerver would probably be defining best practices around accounts and tool setup.  For instance - your domain accounts could use our ShareFile Desktop tool for access to their self-managed content, but set up ShareFile Sync to synchronize content with a master account to share with all of your domains.

Let me know if this helps

Thanks,
