Hello,

after update (from CF 4.6) or new install of the new version of CF for Windows 5.0 the new CF Client does not start. In the Windows 10 eventlog there are the following events:

Windows Error Reporting:
Fehlerbucket 2274955485778684387, Typ 5
Ereignisname: CLR20r3
Antwort: Nicht verfügbar
CAB-Datei-ID: 0
Problemsignatur:
P1: CitrixFiles.exe
P2: 5.0.82.0
P3: 5ccc4418
P4: ShareFile.Client.Windows.Cbfs
P5: 5.0.82.0
P6: fa202f29
P7: 8e0
P8: 4d
P9: System.ArgumentException
P10:

This event comes together with an "Application Error" and ".Net Error".
The installation or update form a previous CF client shows no another errors, only the start of the new CF 5.0.082.0 Client shows the Windows Eventlog errors and the new CF Client doesn't start.

Is anything known about it?

Regards Frank

We have found the Problem.
When in the GPO the policy "Cache Mode" is set to "Default" then Citrix Files Client 5.0 crashes and doesn't start. When this setting doesn't used or is set to another setting, the Citrix Files Client works fine.

Glad to hear you were able to verify your issue was resolved with the .97 build.
