Citrix Files for Windows upload notification

There seems to be a difference in upload notification if we use ShareFile through a web browser vs. if we use ShareFile through Citrix Files for Windows app.

Sharefile through web browser - Drag 30 pdf files into a folder.  Users on that folder receive 1 email with that 30 files have been uploaded to their folder.

Sharefile through Citrix Files for Windows app - Drag/copy 30 pdf files into a folder.  Users on that folder receive 30 SEPARATE emails; 1 for each document that has been uploaded.

Has anyone run into this problem!?  I dont see how the app has different notification settings compared to web browser version.

If no fix, will go back to using web browser to upload files because clients are not happy we are clogging their inbox.

Personally, I prefer to set notifications to send every 15 minutes rather than the default of "real-time" notifications.

It solves the problem you brought up by sending the notification email after 15 minutes and aggregate the files uploaded into one email. I learned this after I scripted automatic file moves synced using the windows app just like you alluded to. My users were getting 200+ emails in the span of a few minutes whenever my utility ran.
