Clients should be able to initiate email messages back to Employees

I find it odd that Citrix would choose to disallow Client's from initiating emails (and encrypted emails) back to Employees.  I understand that Citrix is looking for ways to differentiate the functionality between a paying user (Employee) and a free user (Client).   At a base level, Clients need the ability to upload/download files, and communicate to Employees through messaging.  There are so many other options that Citrix could utilize such as:
1) Limit Client initiated message to only Employees
2) Limit Client initiated messages to a certain, small number.

As it stands, Clients can only reply back.  If I have a client that requires the ability to send me messages, I have to...make them an Employee?

People who are using ShareFile should actively explore using Podio as well, they are integrated, and all part of Citrix. Podio is far more adaptive and powerful in apps, workflow support, messaging among different people within secure workspaces, etc

Thanks for the response.  Podio is overkill for the most basic level of email messaging communication that I'm referring to.  A given client 'may' need to initiate 2-3 messages a year.  It's odd that Citrix wouldn't allow the most base level of initiating a message from customers in Sharefile.

yep i agree, people feel frustrated if they get something and just want to post a message back about it
