Desktop app: "Did you move, rename, or delete the file?" Error when trying to open and edit excel files.

I have some users that keep getting this error when trying to open any type of file from sharefile desktop app.  I know that the issue is when sharefile downloads the temp file to be able to open it in excel or whatever, that if it takes too long to load it will fail.  However I have tried repairing sharefile and keeping excel and word open to no avail.  Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi Tyler,

We had seen sporadic reports of such issues with old versions, but fixes were made in the latest versions to address cases that could lead to this behavior.

Can you confirm the version of the desktop app you are using? I would recommend opening a support ticket so as to allow us to get more details and troubleshoot it, if you are seeing it with the latest version of the app.
