Hi,
I'm following (One-off Documents) way to send my document to RightSignatue.
Now I want to know how to add text tags on the document base file so that i can designate the location of each signer field.
e.g. I want to add  [s : a : r] to right bottom of my PDF.

Your help would be much appreciated!
thanks,

Hello Farqalit,

Please refer to our Text Tags documentation: https://rightsignature.com/apidocs/documentation_intro#/text_tags. You will need to add the text node use_text_tags in the 'Send Document' Call.

Sorry for the confusion. This is the documentation for Text Tags (or Text Anchors) in the new version: https://api.rightsignature.com/documentation/document_workflows. Per the documentation, the new version does not require you to add the text node use_text_tags in the 'Send Document' Call.

In the first screenshot, it appears the Text Tag of [s:a:r] worked properly when the signer was able to access the document.  The second screenshot looks like another document. Is that second document not displaying the text tags correctly once the document is received?

Will you please guide me
Can I get my document Id in response while executing theses requests ?

1) POST to /public/v1/sending_requests
2) PUT to /uploaded_url/
3) POST to /public/v1/sending_requests/:id/uploaded

I'm not using any optional parameters yet and unable to find my uploaded document Id in all above requests response.

Thanks,

It appears the second document may be a secure PDF, as it states 'Secured' next to the file name. Please remove the security restrictions as we will be unable to read the document and look for the tags.

The document ID should be in the response for the Sending Requests.

Hi Grace!

I'm facing issue for sending_requests.

Response :
{"error":"User has reached document limit.","error_description":null}

When I voided some documents the error has gone before,
But now change my documents to void don't work to get me out of this error.
What exactly the criteria defined for document limit ?
I have gone through the documentation but unable to find its explanation.

Moreover, will you please guide me about getting the document Id ?
You can find my request's responses below.
For POST /public/v1/sending_requests

response:

And I cant find any document_Id for these requests.
Is there any optional parameters we have to set in Request (POST to /public/v1/sending_requests) to get back the document_Id ?

Your help would be much appreciated!

Hi,

The response status is "awaiting_file". I would recommend trying to check the status of the document every 30 seconds at GET /sending_requests/:id .

Once you get back status of completed, you should have a document template id.

Hope that helps.
