incorrect function

Using citrix files for windows and when I click on the S: drive I get an error "location is not available; S:\ is not accessible; Incorrect function". It was working yesterday. Any suggestions would be welcome. I'm going to simply turn off and back on again but, even if this works, it's not a particularly workable solution in the long term.

Thanks for any assistance anyone can offer.

I have the same problem... I noticed that my citrix files drive changes from time to time. So I have the S: and the Y: sometimes. So far, I only get the problem among my colleagues.
I have to stop citrix files, close all documents that I was working on (that were in citrix files) and restart citrix files.

Hi David,

Are you still having issues? The drive not available issue seems related to the file system driver issue. Would you mind reach out on cfwin.feedback@citrix.com and submit your logs. We will have a look at it.

Can you also confirm if your internet connection was working at the time? Thats another reason when this could happen, and the dashboard of CFWin should indicate this error.

Cheers

I fixed this issue after trying everything above and being unsuccessful.  I just uninstalled Citrix files and then logged back into Citrix via the web and redownloaded the install files and reinstalled and it worked like a champ after that!  Don't know if that helps but thought id add that it worked for me!

I also have same problem. After shut down a computer. S: is not mounted and I got same error message. I also contacted to support team but it worked just after the support.

I get this error periodically on some of my users' computers. usually quitting citrix files and restarting it works, today I had to uninstall/reboot/reinstall

am I the only person who is trying to use this product for actual work? we have an irritating amount of little issues like this that prevent use or lose files

Hi Chris,

Can you submit logs from the Help -> Send Logs option. We will have a look at it. Also please open a support case if not already done, it will allow for tracking your case.

I'll try to the next time it comes up, but I'd imagine you don't need the logs from a brand new install

Logs will be useful there too. It should log information on why the drive is not mounted when CFWin runs leading to the "incorrect function" issue.

Updated information

It sometimes could be mounted when I logged off before shutting down the computer.
But it is still not stable.
