Mac sync app keeps asking for login every week

I'm on an iMac with the Mac sync app installed.  About once a week, the Sharefile login box pops up to log in again for the sync app.  I also have the sync app installed on my Macbook Air and it has never done that, I logged in when I installed the app and never had to log in again.

Why is it doing this on my iMac?  Same app but these constant logins are a pain, and sometimes the box doesn't pop up and the app stops syncing, like today it stopped syncing and didn't pop up the login box, I just happened to see the little yellow triangle on the icon in the menu bar and realized it wasn't syncing.  I don't know how long it hadn't been syncing tho and I depend on consistent reliable background syncing with my team.

Hi Stephanie,

Can you please confirm the Mac sync version you are using. If you are not on the latest - 3.0.149.0, please install the same.

It looks like the keychain entry is not getting set properly for some reason. Can you please clear the keychain entry by using the following steps:
  • Open Keychain Access
  • Search for SFSyncToken
  • Delete the corresponding entry that starts with SFSyncToken*.

After performing this you will need to login again. If you still face the issue please open a support ticket so that we can investigate this further.

Cheers

Yes, I'm running that latest version.  I've removed the SFSyncToken and restarted the sync app and logged in.  I'll keep an eye on it and open a support ticket if it asks me to log in again (it's usually about once a week so it may be a couple weeks before I know if this fix worked).

Thank you for your help!

And thanks again - this worked, no more login requests!
