Moving files from connector a -> connector b, inherited permissions not updated?

Hi people.

So first some background so everyone can fully grasp my problem.

One of my customers is running on Citrix Terminal servers, and they have several mapped network drives from a fileserver in the same network. The one's that I'm having trouble with specifically is the "sales" and "projects" mapped network drives and associated connectors from Citrix Files.

The users who work with "sales" share also has access to "projects". The one's who work in "projects" don't have access to "sales".

Some of the users work on local machines with Citrix Files for Windows and saving files to the connector that points to "sales". When a sale is completed and contracts signed, the "sales" team move the folder for the associated sale over to the "projects" folder so that team can access it. If they do this while logged into the Citrix terminal server with the mapped drives, inherited permissions on the moved folder is updated so that the users in "projects" group can see, read and write to the files in the moved folder. If they move the files with Citrix Files between the connectors, the moved folder never updates permissions like it should, and keeps the permissions from the "sales" folder.

This leads to the people working in the projects team cant access the files, and I've got to spend my time finding the defect folders and manually overwriting permissions.

Bug or feature? Any fix?

Can mention that both the "sales" and "projects" folder have separate network drives for people working on terminal servers, and separate connectors in Citrix Files. Both are stored under the same root folder, and having a connector on the root doesnt change the problem with inheriting permissions.
