Outlook Uninstallation issue

User has the Sharefile Outlook (per user) plugin installed. (5.1.1524.2)
Plugin constantly pops up saying that a new version will be installed.  That never happens.  It stays at the above mentioned version and constantly pops up and annoys user.

I download most recent version - maybe that will help.  Can't install it.  It is asking for an msi file (sharefile_outlook_plug-in_User-5.1.1524.2.msi) to complete the uninstallation.

Can't find an archive of past files on Citrix website.  Unless I have been looking in the wrong place.

I decide to go the nuclear route:

get-wmiobject -class win32_product -filter "Name LIKE '%Share%'"
IdentifyingNumber : {EEB0C0D4-32AA-4844-B72A-237182ABBF96}
Name              : ShareFile Outlook Plug-in
Vendor            :
Version           :
Caption           : ShareFile Outlook Plug-in

Interesting.. No version.

(get-wmiobject -class win32_product -filter "IdentifyingNumber = '{EEB0C0D4-32AA-4844-B72A-237182ABBF9}'").uninstall()

Exception calling "Uninstall" : "Operation is not valid due to the current state of the object."
At line:1 char:1
+ (get-wmiobject -class win32_product -filter "Identifyingnumber = '{EE ...
+ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    + CategoryInfo          : NotSpecified: (:) [], MethodInvocationException
    + FullyQualifiedErrorId : WMIMethodException

Any ideas? If there is a way I can manually remove the plugin, or if I can find an archive of your past releases, this will help.

Hi Renato,

Can you try using this utility from Microsoft and see if it will remove the old version?
