Hello together,
An EnBW department need a ShareFile Connector Storage solution to copy large files (6 -18 GB) from the EnBW CIFS share to the local Windows 10 client. The DriveMapper 3.10 and higher works, but now we have to switch to Citrix Files for Windows. How can we use the Citrix Files download feature with script commands?

Hello,
First how are you doing it with Driver Mapper? If it is just a script to copy from a share to S: then Citrix Files should be able handle it.

Hi Nadine,

yes that is right, but when the file is greater than 500 MB or 1 GB CitrixFiles gives you an Error and the ShareFile Support says use the download feature from CitrixFiles.
Please keep in mind, I want to use CitrixFiles, but for downloading large Files (6-18 GB) I need a script (PowerShell) based solution for the "download feature" form Citrix Files.

OK, or is that not clear?
By the way, DriveMapper 3.10 and higher works, but we want so fast as possible switch to Citrix Files, if we have a solution for that.

Regards Frank.

Hi Frank,

Whats the error that you are getting when downloading these large files? Can you share you logs as well. You can send them to cfwin.feeedback@citrix.com

Hi Prabhat,

here the error message:

And here the Error - Message when wie try to copy a round about 500 MB zipped file:
https://data-cg.sharefile.eu/d/sea831d0b4d04fefb
The Error occurred round about 14:39 - 14:42 (GMT+1).

By the Way, in the Log file you can see an additional performance issue. But this is another case.

Cheers

Hello Frank,
I had similar issue and was provided a private build that is now working with large files (v4.3.94.0).
It should be released approximately in 2 weeks.
If you want to ask a copy for your tests, you could refer to my case number 78412858.

JFYI, Frank, Renaud, 4.3.94.0 is a private build and not official GA'ed version. We will be making a release today EOD for 4.3 which will be rolled out incrementally to all customers through this week.
