We are using Citrix Files for Windows in our customer's environment. There is a new update for Citrix Files and this update alert appears when the users log on to their machines. There is a GPO suggested from Citrix support team which is enable or disable Citrix Files auto update but it did not solve the problem. Enable or disable Citrix Files auto update is not important for us. The only important thing is, prevent the Citrix Files update alert appears on users' machines when they logon to their machines. Could you help me about this subject ?

Sorry for the late response, if you set the GPO to disable auto-update that will also prevent the prompt from showing for the users.

Hi Michael, I tried to do that but it did not work.
I disabled the euto-update but clients still face the update alerts.

It sounds like the GPO wasn't configured correctly or deployed to the endpoint correctly. To verify, access an endpoint that you have verified still receives a notification for a new Citrix FIles version and check for the following registry key: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Citrix\Citrix Files | DWord: EnableAutoUpdate | Value: 0. If the Value is 1 or the key does not exist, then that means the GPO wasn't configured correctly or wasn't deployed correctly.
