Problems installing and uninstalling Citrix files for Outlook

When attempting to install the plugin (newest version downloaded from the Apps tab) the install opens and after click the I Agree To.... checkbox and click next the installation claims to have finished successfully and that I may have to close and open outlook to see the plugin.  The problem is, this happens INSTANTLY.  There's no way anything installs that fast.  And sure enough, nothing is loaded in Outlook and there is no trace of the program anywhere in the users profile, Program Files, Program Files (x86), Program Data, etc.  When you go to Add Remove programs you see Citrix Files for Outlook and when you go to uninstall, it also uninstalls INSTANTLY and claims success at uninstallation.  I can repeat this process of instantaneous uninstalls/reinstalls until the cows come home with no real success.  I have run into this problem on a handful of my machines and the only work around is to install an OLD version of the green Sharefile OLP.  Any ideas?
