We are pleased to announce that the Citrix Files for Mac, v4.4 app is now available for download. 

Important Information
  • Installation requires macOS 10.11 or newer
  • Local computer Administrator permissions are required to install the app
How to Download
What's new:

  • Manage Offline Folders - Users can specify which folders are to be designated for Offline Access. The Manage Offline Sync menu can be accessed from a a new Preferences menu in Citrix Files for Mac.

  • Folders selected for Offline Sync will make all files and folders within that folder available for offline access. Newly added files or folders to that folder will be automatically made available for offline access.  To remove a folder and files from Offline Sync, simply de-select that folder from the Manage Sync menu.

  • Please Note: Offline Access (sync) is currently in BETA mode and must be enabled for your account. For more information on Citrix Files Beta Features, please see  - To provide feedback on this Beta feature, please email or use the ‘Send Feedback’ option in the App.

  • Redesigned menu bar dashboard – Recent files and in-progress transfers have been moved into separate tabs on the dashboard.  The recent files tab displays files from all devices.  Previously, only files accessed by the app would show in this view

  • Performance Improvements – Badges for files and the right-click context menu will now load more quickly
  • Customer issues fixed in this release:
    • Users will be warned about logging out, uninstalling, and resetting if there are still pending file(s) to be uploaded to ShareFile
    • Users will now be able to make a local backup of any file(s) that are still pending an upload to ShareFile via the help menu

Citrix Files for Mac is for both Enterprise and SMB customers.

How does offline file usage work if we have IP restrictions in place for our domain?
