We would like to announce the newest release of the Citrix Files For Outlook, v.6.4, is now available.

What's New

File browser redesign and improvements

The file browser has been redesigned and improved to make selecting and sharing files and folders even easier.  

All functionality has been preserved, access is now faster to shared and personal folders and to cloud connectors.

Validation checks have been improved to provide a better error and warning message handling.

New Navigation allows you easily go back to the previous folder or navigate between folders.

Virus strictness settings on account level were expanded with new options to provide a stronger security:

  • Warn when someone trying to send or download infected file and block sending
  • Block sending and downloading infected and unscanned files, show icon next to unscanned files
Miscellaneous updates

New file browser is now available for all customers. This update also includes enhancements that let you:

  • Save attachments to on-premises connectors and personal cloud connectors.
  • Submit your feedback in the Help menu under Feedback & Support section.
  • Set up a default expiration policy to 3 months or send a link with a custom expiration policy of 3 months.
The following issues have also been resolved:

Fixed issues in 6.4

The icon that displays on the welcome message after installing a new version of Citrix Files for Outlook might be pixelated. [SFOLP-1042]

Users might have to manually authenticate again after using single sign-on to sign in. [SFOLP-1152]

Known issues in 6.4

No new issues have been observed in this release.
