How to download:
- Users who have previously installed Citrix Files for Windows will be auto-prompted to install this version, starting today.
- Citrix Files for Windows is available from the Apps page within the Web Application
- The application is available from https://www.citrix.com/downloads/sharefile/clients-and-plug-ins/
- MSI Support - Administrators can now deploy an x64 .msi file of Citrix Files for Windows. Today, our application only supports autoupgrading to an .exe. Since .msi only supports .msi to .msi upgrades, you must deploy the GPO to disable autoupgrades. If you have the .exe version of Citrix Files for Windows installed and you want to use the .msi, you must uninstall the .exe version first. You can download the .msi from Citrix Downloads.

File conflict detection and resolution (preview)
- Users are notified when a newer version of the file they are currently editing is uploaded.
- When users save the file, they can choose to overwrite, discard, or save a copy to Citrix Files for Windows.
- The conflict notice also appears on the Errors tab.
- Note: The Errors tab is enabled after turning on the Enable beta features toggle in Settings. For more information on beta features, see Knowledge Center article CTX237762.


- An "Incorrect function" error message appears when accessing the mapped Citrix Files drive.
- Files saved using Microsoft Edge might not upload correctly.
- When a user's AppData system variable points to a UNC path, Citrix Files for Windows exits unexpectedly.
- There was a case where PDF files might get corrupted when saving.
