Overtime we will get to 100% parity between the two apps and will be upgrading Sync users to Citrix Files, which at that time we will have a better migration option so a user doesn't have to re-sync the folders / files when moving to Citrix Files, etc.

thanks for the prompt reply. problem is that I have just uninstalled Sharefile Sync and configured some Citrix Offline files and folders but it doesnt work. I cant open any offline files when working offline with error saying it has "either moved or inaccessible". Strangely I can open .jpeg files from all folders even if not configured for Offline working. Disappointing. How do I get support for this?

The other option:
Go into the app - help menu - submit logs (grab the log ID that is given to you) and provide this feedback via the 'provide feedback' option (include the logID).

We are still having problems in our business with Offline files not working. I spoke to Citrix support yesterday who thought it was a windows permissions issue. However I think I can see a problem so wanted to inform and determine what can be done to get it working for us.
When I look at the Security permissions of the mapped Citrix Sharefile folder it is greyed out with "Special Permissions" - dont know what they are. However when I look at the Windows\User\Sharefile folder it has full access rights. I can access my offline files from the Windows folder but cannot from the Citrix Sharefile drive with permission errors. Note we are using out of the box Windows laptops so have no special group permissions or anything that would be affecting standard windows permissions. Seems to me Citrix Sharefile is not allowing the necessary permissions for Offline Files to work.
Please can you advise.

further to another call with Citrix support yesterday I am advised that there is a known bug for Offline files not working on V5.0.97 so I have now been issued a beta fix. Very disappointing that I have had calls logged for over a month now and I am only just being told about this.
Note in my testing I note that although I can now access my offline files ok I cant edit the files directly but instead have to save locally and then will need to upload when back online. I also cant save a new file to a offline folder. This is a regression of functionality from Sharefile Sync so our user are now going to have to reinstall this unless this feature can be enabled in Offline Files.
We moved as a business to Sharefile about 6 months ago and have to say our experience to date has not be great. I hope the service improves going forward.
