Release Notes, ShareFile Web Application 17.4

We are pleased to announce the release of the ShareFile Web Application v.17.4! The following features and improvements will be rolled out to accounts incrementally between now and March 3rd.

New Features

Improvements to the Apps Page

To improve usability, we have reorganized the Apps page to better distinguish between Citrix integrations and third-party integrations. More recent third-party integrations have also been added!

Improvements to Workflow Settings

Customers with access to Workflows such as Feedback and Approvals and Request List can now modify various workflow settings such as Time Zone, when and why to receive notifications, and more. The Master Admin of the account can also generate Activity Reports from the Settings menu.

To access the Settings menu, sign into your ShareFile account and click on the Workflows/Feedback and Approval button in the left-side navigation menu, then click the Settings link in the upper right.

API Update - Reassign Files during User Deletion

For those of our customers utilizing the API ( ), we now support reassigning user items during deletion. See the "Delete User" and "itemsReassignTo" instructions at the following article: .

Bug Fixes
  • The Admin Overview menu did not load properly for certain users.
  • User activity log did not include complete information for the end date field.
  • Certain users could not load folders after deleting a favorited folder.
  • Files with a ZK file name occasionally displayed on the Dashboard Recent Files menu.
  • Branding email templates did not display properly.
  • Users not properly removed from File Drops when removing the File Drop permission.
  • Notes not displaying in quick search results.

I'm very happy to see that these updates have been coming very fast on the web app. Could you provide some insight as to when we may see updates for the drive mapper. that has been a bear to deal with lately as it just not stable.

Hi Jason,

We are targeting mid-March for our next release of Drive Mapper. This update will focus on upload queue stability, crash resolution, and overall quality fixes.
