We are pleased to announce the release of ShareFile Web Application v18.35 which includes the following bug fix. These changes will be available to all customers in the coming week.

Default Branding Update

To unify with overall Citrix rebranding efforts, we have changed the default branding from green to blue to match the color scheme to Citrix's new blue and white theme.

If your account is custom branded, your existing branding will not be affected. You will notice some icons change from green to blue, such as the shortcuts icons on the Dashboard.

If you would like to custom brand your account, please see https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX208349 for more information.

Citrix Files Update for Apps Page

With the release of the new Citrix Files Apps (Citrix Files for Outlook, Citrix Files for Windows & Citrix Files for Mac), we have updated the Apps page to provide information and download links for these new apps.

For more information about each of these new tools, please visit the release notes:
If you would like to direct your users to download Drive Mapper, please visit the Citrix Downloads page at https://www.citrix.com/downloads/sharefile/ for Legacy Clients and Plug-ins.

Upcoming Release: End of compatibility with Safari 9

We have been monitoring the usage of Safari 9 by users and now that less than 0.2% of the user base is on Safari 9, we are planning to drop support for Safari 9 in an upcoming release (exact release to be determined).

Newer browsers like Safari 10, and newer, will give users a better and more secure experience with ShareFile. We recommend Safari 9 users upgrade to Safari 11 which is the newest available Safari version.

All supported browsers are listed in the knowledge base at https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX208271

The following customer issues have been resolved:
  • StorageZone Recover Files page was not displaying all files available for recovery due to an UI error.
  • A customer was experiencing issues with subfolder sorting on a Network connector.

Who needs to know?
ShareFile Web Application updates are intended for all customers.
