We are pleased to announce the release of ShareFile Web Application v19.15, which includes the following changes. These changes will be available to all customers in the coming week.

New Changes & Miscellaneous UI updates

  • To increase user security, failed sign-on attempts are limited to five. After five failed attempts, users are prompted to reset their password.
  • Both users and administrators are now notified when users are forced to reset their passwords.
  • When attempting to sign on with too many failed attempts, the error message shown is more descriptive of the issue.
  • The branding for signing into RightSignature now matches the rest of Citrix Workspace.
  • An outdated notification system has been removed.
  • Users can now sign on with Citrix Workspace credentials to access legacy ShareFile applications.
Customer issues fixed in 19.15

  • Files might be deleted after users are reassigned.
  • The storage zone shown in the webapp and the database for the account might not match.
  • The NotificationSweeper app might consume an excessive amount of CPU.
  • User roles might not be set during validation.
  • Sync might mistake the master administrator for a client user, pausing Sync.
  • When a DS group is added to a workflow, the workflow cannot be edited.
  • Adding a new client user might not create an activation token when using a Citrix Workspace account.
  • When attempting to move or archive a file using the ShareFile Desktop App for Windows, athe following error message appears: "You are not authorized to perform this operation."
  • Links sent with ShareID might redirect to the dashboard rather than to the downloadable file.
  • Encrypted emails sent to email addresses beginning with "g" might not be sent.
  • Help links were gray on a dark background, making them difficult to see.
  • Administrators might not be able to switch to a valid storage zone.

The notification center has been removed to comply with legal rulings.
Could you provide more information on this point?

"Anoutdated notification system has been removed.”
We've changed the wording to make it clearer.
