Hello there,

We are using RightSignature V4 API for the integration with our CRM. Currently we fetch all the information from CRM fill the HTML template convert to PDF and send it for e-signature. Now, we got a requirement to make some Text fields editable by the end user and it should show the default data fetched from CRM. How can achieve this? Is it possible to feed the Text field with a default value?

Thanks

Aron,

Are you using the sending request public api to achieve your current workflow? https://api.rightsignature.com/documentation/resources/v1/sending_requests/create.en.html

Thanks
Saravanan

Aron,

You could create an editable text field while using sending request, but not pre-fill. You want to use text tag anchors while building your pdf. https://api.rightsignature.com/documentation/document_workflows

If this helps.

Thanks

Currently we are using text tags in PDF if no data exists in CRM. The question here is, fill the text tag with a value from CRM by default. lets say for Address field, it should show the value from CRM, also make it easy for the end user to edit it if there is any change.

Aron, No we cannot. Currently with text tags, we don't have the capability to pre fill the text field with default value.
