I am trying to send out shares via email with the Sharefile API & Powershell

$newShare = New-Object ShareFile.Api.Models.ShareSendParams
$newShare.Items = New-Object 'System.Collections.Generic.List[string]'
$newShare.Items.Add($id)
$newShare.Emails = New-Object 'System.Collections.Generic.List[string]'
$newShare.Emails.Add($email)
$newShare.Subject = "File Sent via ShareFile"
$newShare.RequireLogin = $false # Anonymous Share
$newShare.MaxDownloads = -1 # Unlimited
$newShare.ExpirationDays = -1 # Never Expires

$createdShare = Send-SfRequest $sfClient -Entity Shares -Action Send -Body $newShare

When I execute the command to create the share, I get the following error

Send-SfRequest : Forbidden: You have exceeded the available notification limit.

I called Sharefile Support on the phone and they said that my account email limit was 50, but increased it to 4000. I can send share links via email just fine through the Web Interface of Sharefile, but I can't seem to do it through the API due to the above error...

Jordan,

What is your account subdomain? We can check what's going on on our side

Thanks Jordan!

We do cache that email limit so it is likely that re-trying the request soon after it was updated continued to fail because the old value remained stored in our cache. I confirmed your limit was increased and it's been long enough that you should not be seeing this issue anymore. Please let me know if that's the case.

Thanks,
Eli

Hi Eli

I just tested it and it's working now. Thanks!
