When sending encrypted emails in HTML format, they display correctly but how do I get the signature images or any embedded images to appear?

Hi Chris,

I'm unsure on the problem you're having with this, and had a test done with it from the Outlook Plug-in.  However, the test worked fine, so you may need to have a screenshare with a Support representative in the morning in order to figure out what the cause is.

I am using the API from our own application to send emails, not the outlook plugin. If I create an email which is formatted in HTML any inline images that I send do not appear, once I log in to sharefile to view the encrypted email. I guess I should be asking 1 . Should they appear? 2. If they should do you have a sample where this is working?

Happy to do a screen share.
Thanks

Chris,

You can embed an image using base64 encoding, which would look like this in html:

<img src="data:image/jpg;base64,/*base64-data-string here*/" />
Note that there is a character limit for encrypted email messages, so large images with long encoded strings might not be valid.
Let me know if this works for you

Thanks!
Eli
