ShareFile Enterprise Intergration with XenMobile

We are in the transition phase of a hosted POC and production CSP for ShareFile.  We are questioning how we want to handle SAML and SSO.  Looking for some advice. We will only be using XenMobile to provision users and possibly SAML, not for MDM.

If we use XenMobile, does this still use SAML if we login to the Web UI?  If not, will we need to have ADFS configured as well?  Is it even possible to have 2 SAML providers?

Any other bits of advice for this type of environment?

Thank you.

Hi Cindy,
You can definitely use XenMobile as the SAML provider for SSO with ShareFile. This article should help with that:

Thanks Ashlee!

Are there advantages/disadvantages of using XenMobile for SAML vs ADFS?  We will be going through NetScaler and would like to integrate with StoreFront.

Hi

SAML works great for external users (iPad, iPhone, Windows Sync, Mac Sync clients etc.) and is also great for external web access.  SAML authentication is built into most of the apps and plugins and once linked the user won't need to put enter their credentials.

ADFS would be better if the majority of your users are internal users (XenDesktop/Xenapp)... but according to Sharefile support you cannot configure both.

I posted a topic earlier regarding both types of authenticator.
