Sharefile fail: overwritten files - several times a week!!!

A maddening problem made more so because I can't discern a pattern!

Small office. One location. Fast, clean internet.

We create presentations in Powerpoint for clients that come to our office. Usually, 3 people work on the presentation in the week to 10 days before.

Problem: Too frequently, the main file gets overwritten by someone who hasn't even opened the file.

Attached is an image re-creating the exact Activity Log of a file that was messed up today. You can see it takes place over less than 30 minutes. All employees had their computers on but no one was working on the file except Employee A.

So, what the heck is going on?!

Hoo boy...sorry you're going through this. Was pulling out my hair last year with this problem!

At the time, a Sharefile product manager saw my post and reached out. In short order, we eliminated possibilities that there were system clock errors on user computers or some antivirus issues.

He said he talked with a dev lead who mentioned they had one report of a similar issue (only one?). They made some tweaks in the program and incorporated them into v3.17. Once I ensured that all users were updated to this version, the problem went away.

You say you're already at v4.5.31.0. My only suggestion at this point is to somehow check that everyone is on the most current version. Or maybe completely uninstall/reinstall Citrix Files on the recalcitrant computers.

Sorry can't offer more help!
