Sorry, World Online ran into a problem opening this PDF

Hi,

When I try to open PDFs I send to my email using the ShareFile API, I get an error message that says

Sorry, Word Online ran into a problem opening this PDF. To view this PDF please open it in Microsoft Word. When I click Download, it downloads the PDF successfully and I'm able to view it without a problem.

I think this error might be linked to another problem I'm having which is getting number of downloads and whether or not the file has been opened. When I make a GET request to https://account.sf-api.com/sf/v3/Shares(id), I get the Share, but the info returned is wrong. It always says "IsRead": false and "TotalDownloads": 0, which isn't correct because I downloaded the PDF.

Has anyone had the same problem?

Any advice would be appreciated. I tried calling support, but they told me to ask the question here.

Same behavior. Latest Storage Zone Controller and OOS Version 16.0.7766.8550. Certains PDF doesn't work. If we upload a powerpoint with 200MB - no problem at all.

Thanks for posting Patrick. Hopefully if enough people reply to this thread, they'll make it a high priority to fix this bug.
