Hi Jaco,

That issue is specific to Mac. Windows should work fine if the SAML is correctly configured for both form and basic/NTLM modes.

I will ping you separately on the latest for that fix.

Hi Halid,

The issue that Jaco is referring to is limited to Mac, and basic / NTLM mode of authentication is not handled in Mac app.The one you are running to is a different, and logs would be helpful to see whats going wrong.

Hi Halid - Sorry to hear you're having problems authenticating. Can you please provide log from both Citrix Files for Windows and Citrix Files for Outlook? They are located here:

%appdata%\Citrix\Citrix Files for Outlook\log.txt
and
%localappdata%\Citrix\Citrix Files\Logs

Please upload the log files here and we will investigate:

Thanks,
Doug

Hi Halid - Thanks for uploading those log files. I took a look at your Outlook Plug-in log file, and it indicates that the necessary account info is not present in the registry and therefore SAML SSO is being skipped. The plug-in needs to know the subdomain (and the control plane) associated with your account. To enable SSO, please see the following article for instructions on setting the proper registry values:

https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX234543

Let us know if that solves the problem.

Thanks,
Doug

Hi Halid - I don't see any authentication attempts in the log file you provided.

Can you please try closing all open instances of Outlook and deleting your settings file, located in the same folder as the log file. Then start Outlook again. If that doesn't work please send me the updated log file and I'll take another look.

I'm not sure why the authentication isn't being started at plug-in startup.

Hi Halid,

Can you confirm whether the Group Policy Option Account is correctly configured, and Enabled. It should be fully qualified in the form <company>.sharefile.com. That could be one of the reason why SSO is not working for CFWin.

Also we don't see any new logs for today.

Cheers
