Trying to create a new client, but I am told the client's mail already exists when it does not

I am trying to add a new client to one of our folders but I am being told the user's e-mail already exists. When I press to view this already existing user, it directs me to a user from the same company but their e-mail is not the same.

Figured it out, the new mail i was trying to register was an alternative e-mail for the user from the same company
