Unable to delete ShareFile employee account

I seem to be unable to delete an employee account or convert it to a client account, and cant seem to figure out why.

The account I am using is a super user, and is the administrator for the ShareFile account. The only option listed to me under "Manage Employees" for the account I would like to remove is "disable user".

Im hoping someone here might be able to shed some light on what Im doing wrong/missing.

Hi Tyler,

You cannot remove the Master administrator for the account.  This is usually indicated with a person icon next to the user in the Manage Employees list.  If the user is no longer with the company, please reach out to ShareFile Support for the process to get this changed.

Thanks Leo. The account I am trying to remove is not setup as the administrator (at least I cant find where it is if so). The account that I am using to delete it with is though (has the small person icon next to my name in the users list). I will reach out to ShareFile support for more assistance.

Thanks again,

Just wanted to follow up. I spoke with SF support. Turns out it was a bug with the ShareFile account and even they were unable to remove the account or change it. We ended up renaming\reassigning the account to another user. This allowed use to reuse the one seat/license that was being used.
