User is able to use ShareFile to attach file, but while sending, is met with the following error: "Error in upload processing."

Some history, we use ADFS as the authentication method and sometime last week the certificate for ADFS expired.  That has now been fixed but the user is still not able to send files via ShareFile.  I can send logs upon request.

User is using Windows 7 with Outlook 2010.
In log has this error:The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel.

Hi Bret,

Since they're getting an error stating an error in upload processing, can you confirm that the user can upload through the web site or a Request link?

This kind of sounds like the plugin can't use a port.

Hello Leo,

I myself tried to upload and the upload bar stays at 0% and then timeout with an error of "Item failed to upload"

I have a co-worker who can upload files fine.  So I logged in on his know good workstation and it failed for me.  So I believe it is related to me somehow.

Thank you,

Bret

Hey Bret,

Please check with whoever administers your account.  If your company uses the on premise StorageZone, it's possible that you are configured to use a different StorageZone than your co-worker and that the one associated with your login is having problems, especially since there are a variety of cases (you and one other having problems, another co-worker is fine).

Hello Leo,

That would be me, LOL, I just got handed this recently.  We do have an on premise StorageZone.  Can you help guide me to look at where those settings are?

I found where to set the StorageZone, if it is set to our storage, the upload fails.  If I set it too Azure, it works at least in the Outlook plugin.

I tested the ShareFile webpage and that works as well, but not using our local storage.  Can you help with the local storage?

Thank you,

Bret

Hello Leo,

I found the issue to be our local storage.  The certificate was not updated as well.  Now all is fine.  Thank you for all your help.

Thank you,

Bret

Hi Bret,

Apologies for the delay in response.  Thanks for the heads up on the current status.  Even though you figured out the problem source, since you were handed this recently, you may want to reach out internally to make sure they set you up as a contact for the account, should you need to open a case.

If you need a reference for StorageZones, you can find it at docs.citrix.com in the ShareFile section.
