Upload File From Clientside directly to ShareFile Folder. Without login on clientside.

I have a process where I need to upload files directly to ShareFile Folder from the Clientside.  I have already implemented the server side API where I create needed folders, authenticate, etc.

Of course, I could upload the file to my server via Javascript, and then use the serverside API to upload the file to ShareFile, but I do not need (or want) the file to touch my server.

My ideal application flow would be:

User lands on upload page of my site.

Clientside sends an ajax call to my server and server responds with necessary authentication token to access ShareFile directly.  Also returns the correct URI needed to upload the files to the appropriate directory.

User select files and clientside form posts files directly to sharefile.

At no time does the user have to login to sharefile.  The transfer to SF is completely transparent to the user.  All creation of authorization tokens would be created at the server and merged in on the javascript side for the post to the url.

Can I do this?  If so is there an example you can point me towards?  I have looked at the javascript filepicker example, but it appears (even though I couldn't get the test, html to work) that the user has to authenticate clientside.

Thoughts?

I believe I have this figured out.  So please don't waste any time responding.  I will create a post that explains the errors of my thought process soon.
