User Management Tool Limit hit, stops all syncing

We're using the User Management Tool to provision users, groups and membership.

We're having some issues with number of users and creating new users, which I would expect as we've hit the limit (though most other vendors give some grace and not a hard limit).

However, what is a pain is that groups are not created and possibly not updated, because the user limit is hit, this is a pain for us, and I would like to ask the logic is changed in a new version so groups are still created and updated regardless (obviously without the new users being created and added to them, just existing accounts in the group).

We're using User Management Tool 1.7.100, which I realise is not the latest version, can the latest be installed "on top", and the settings/rules/schedule will carry forward from before?

Yes you can upgrade to the latest UMT and all your settings, rules, etc. will carry over.
