Very significant delay before file(s) show up in SharefileAPI AdvanceSimpleSearch

We are using Sharefile API, Advanced Simple Search (https://e-imo.sf-api.com/sf/v3/Items/AdvancedSimpleSearch) to check for new files in a number of folders that share a common 'root' base folder, which id we provide in the search request body json. Sometimes we have a 30 minute to a 1 hr+ delay after files are dropped before we see the files show up in the search. Yet, files are visible in Sharefile UI and files do show up in a GetFolderContent API request (https://e-imo.sf-api.com/sf/v3/Items(<myfolderidhere>)/Children when I list the specific folder id. Unfortunately, the folders we are monitoring are dynamically created, so we have to do a search API rather than just get a specific folder or enumerated folder contents. Is there a way/workaround/some configuration that we can fine tune to get files to appear in the search earlier? This is likely to create customer support issues with 'file has been dropped', why hasn't it processed yet. We are fine with a delay of a few minutes, but an hour plus delay is unacceptable.

P.S. We have tried using Webhooks but they do not appear to work reliably either (we have logged a support request and there are more support postings by other customers for the webhook issue that have been filed after ours (in Sept of this year)

Our Dev team is seeing the same issues.  Could someone from support review this and get back to us?
