Would it be possible for the automated ShareFile emails to include some detail on the subject line on what is in the folder being sent?

Hi Jayne,

I would like a little clarification on what you are requesting, as depending on what is being sent, this sounds like it can end up backfiring pretty badly.

There are two types of notifications in general -- real-time notifications and consolidated notifications.  Real-time notifications are as described, emails that are being sent in real-time as the activities happen.  Consolidated notifications are when your user account is set to only allow a notification to be sent within a restricted time frame.

Real-time notifications has additional information in the form of who is doing the upload.  It's still possible for a real-time notification to be showing multiple files in an upload if they were all being uploaded in the same batch of files.

Consolidated notifications usually cover several different uploads and can get pretty lengthy if there are uploads in multiple locations occurring.

Both sets of notifications have more details in the content of the notification.

There is a special case where accounts that are on the Healthcare cloud do NOT have additional detail in order to help them be in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Can you elaborate on how you are expecting the detail to look like?  For example, a sample subject line?

Correct Leo,  these are real time.  I see your point regarding disclosure of confidential information.  I am sharing files between my company the a Government entity.  I encouraged them to use the Reading Pane, view option in Outlook.  I think I will share you point with them.  Your point is well taken.  Thank you very much!
