When i click on the download link generated by API "<i>String uri =&nbsp;</i><i>string</i><i>.Format(</i><i>"</i><a target="_blank" rel="nofollow"><i>https://</i></a><i>{0}/sf/v3/Items({1})/Download"</i><i>, ShareFileV3Sample.GetHostname(token), itemId);</i>"

If the link is used more than 5 times, the link gives the message "You have exceeded the maximum amount of download requests for this download." and doesn't work any further.
How to increase the validity of the link like max number of downloads or expiry time of the link

Hi Satish,

That download link is not meant to persist for longer than a couple request, so you should regenerate it each time you want to download a file.
If you want to create a more persistent link that can be shared with many others, you can create a Share link http://api.sharefile.com/rest/docs/resource.aspx?name=Shares

Thanks!
Eli
